I got this lovely antique solid mahogany Thomasville server from an estate in New Haven a while back. It came with a dining set and a large sideboard, both of which are long gone. I initially painted this piece in a bright raspberry, but clearly that's not a popular color, because I've had this piece on the market for over a month with almost no interest. SO I've repainted it in a deep admiral blue, and distressed it just a bit to let the original color peek through. It's a wonderful piece and I suspect it would look smashing in just about any color. Hopefully with her new look, we can find this nice little server a home!
