Flea Market Finds and New Acquisitions

Phew! It's been a busy day- and yesterday was crazy busy too! Tomorrow I'll have lots of completed projects to show you- including some of the things pictured below. Even though my husband and I, and some friends, went to Foxwoods on Saturday night to celebrate everyone turning 30, we still managed to drag our (rather) hungover selves to the flea market the next morning. Now, that's dedication! Here's what I've picked up in the last week, and what I scored at the flea market yesterday!

Just wait till you see what I did with these pretty but boring side tables. Tune in tomorrow!

This junker's already gotten a whole new life too. Pictures tomorrow of this as well!

This incredible antique folk art oil on canvas painting signed by Emanuel Maggiora is just too good to be true.

Look at the moose in the foreground! I'm in love.

Another cork screw to add to the collection

This incredible hand made vintage solid pine dining table with matching benches is allllmost done now too. I should be able to photograph it, all completed tomorrow.

Great lines, but it really needs an update!

A pretty mirror to re-paint.

Another stoneware jug. I'm addicted to these at the moment.

And here I am this morning at 8:45am in my new "work uniform" already for my first day of full time furnituring!

  2. Hate to tell ya, but that's not a moose in the painting you bought - it's an elk!
