An Antique Walnut Dresser

This dresser was a bit of a hot mess when I got it. It had seen better days and been painted a yucky green. I get it though, a lot can happen to a piece of furniture over one hundred and fifty years, and that's no reason to cast a piece aside. I sanded the top of the dresser to reveal the beautiful walnut underneath, made sure the drawers worked smoothly once more, replaced the drawer pulls, and painted the case in a playful French blue.

    Oh Kate!
This is just exquisite. It couldn't be prettier. Love that you made the top and the knobs natural wood. Glad you rescued such a wonderful old girl and made her charming again. Would you divulge the paint color?
    Thanks
