Get Stacked

I don't know about you, but I don't live in a 6500 sq foot manor home...yet. And in the mean time, I have to be space conscious when collecting. When floor and wall space is at a premium, remember you can always stack your collection! Here's some great stacking ideas:

Love the subtle shades of olive green and blue on these gorgeous early 19th century boxes.

The teensiest of stacked collections, all fitting on a little tray.

Or go for bold impact with this group of vintage wine bottles in crates. This would make the best wall decoration in a wine cellar or tasting room.

The irresistible charm and allure of early wall paper boxes.
I think a group would look tremendous stacked on top of an early cupboard!

Two for one! A stack of antique boxes and chests, all in very different styles, which makes it interesting, and a stack of quilts on a sweet vintage chair!

Another small scale stack- why not vintage briefcases! I love the yummy leather textures.

Another great stack of quilts in a simple basket hamper.
via

A collection of vintage tablecloths make a boldly colorful statement when stacked.
via

Another wonderful stack of antique pantry boxes, in fabulous fabulous shades of blue.

I love the idea of stacking antique books by color- so fresh and pretty!
