An Antique Empire Cabinet in Pistachio Green

How adorable is this little empire mahogany and pine cupboard!!! A client snagged it off craigslist and brought it to me to refinish in a pretty pale pistachio green with deep cherry toned top. I love how the dark top, pale green, and distressing all work in harmony. I primed the piece in two coats of deeper green, and then layered on the paler shade to make the distressing more interesting, and then finished the surface with dark wax. I adore this piece and it would certainly find a spot in my house!
