A Funky Cottage Kitchen Set

This is one of those fantastic instances where a piece starts out looking bound for the fire pit, and ends up being oh so swanky. I picked this vintage table up last week, without a clear plan for it, but simply because I adored those crazy curvy legs. I figured if I couldn't refinish it in a sensible way, I could always find a place for it in my home. When I unloaded it from my truck I spent some time looking at it a little more and decided it would be best to add a new top. Once I had the top in place I decided to go whole hog with a bright turquoise paint. I threw in a bench and a pair of antique chairs, and now it's the perfect set for a eat-in kitchen or small dining space!
