A French Country Mahogany Dining Set

I just went back through all my pictures and I can't believe I didn't take before shots of this set. But there you have it. It was a honey color before. I painted the chairs and table base in a creamy white, then gave them a brown glaze for a rich finish, then wax. The table top was sanded, stained, and sealed. It's absolutely flawless, practically glows. I recovered the chair seats as well. This was one of my favorite sets I've worked on in a really long time. It's vintage Bassett brand too, very high quality. There's a matching china hutch that I'll do in a separate post. Happy snowy Monday!

    1. Thank you Cassandra! The paint is Bauhaus Buff by Amy Howard. The glaze is rust-oleum in java. The wax is johnson and johnson clear paste wax. On the table top we have minwax English Chestnut stain and six coats of minwax clear gloss poly.
