A Pine Trestle Table Dining Set

This is such a classic New England style. The dining set was made by a known cabinet maker in New Hampshire about 30 years ago. It's construction definitely shows the signs of a well trained hand. The three beautiful pine boards that make up the top have bread board ends, and are pegged throughout. The base it carefully built and so gorgeous. I purchased the set from the original owners who had loved and enjoyed it for many years, but are downsizing. Everything in this set is solid as a rock, again speaking to the fine construction. I painted the chairs and the table base a black gloss enamel, sanded the table top and sanded it a warm rich English chestnut. Then many coats of poly to protect it for years to come. It's an elegant set that will stand the test of time and changing taste. It's available, so let me know if you're interested!
