Summer Decor: Family Room

As promised, here are some pictures of the new decor in the dining room. I really tried to stick to a palette of deep teal and pale aqua. Most of the color inspiration for the entire decor change came from the antique ship portrait on the wall. I think I'm going to need to pick up a couple more accessories before I can complete the front porch to my satisfaction. That's fine by me though, gives me something to hunt for at the flea market. Two of my favorite antique signs. One for the husband, a piano teacher, and one for me, a pseudo antique dealer. I got a pair of antique green shutters at a tagsale a couple weeks ago for $5 each. I put the other one in the kitchen.
