We Hosted a Wedding!

On Saturday we hosted a wedding for our dear friends Shane and Erin. Despite the absolutely dismal weather on Friday, the rain cleared by early morning on Saturday and we had spectacular weather for their big day. The bride looked beautiful, everyone had a nice time, and my house wasn't completed trashed the next day. So in my opinion, a complete success!
I did all the flowers for the wedding too, so I'll share some pictures of those.
Sorry it's been a couple days since my last post. I'll do another one this afternoon too to make up for it!

Believe it or not, I had 24 of these white windsor chairs on hand.

The groom to be built the trellis for $20 in 2 hours. He's pretty talented.

A bunch of greenery from my garden for the bouquets and centerpieces.

Most of the flowers form Stop and Shop floral department.

  2. What a lovely wedding! The flowers were magnificent. The bride is lovely and what a handsome, cheerful groom! The young ladies with the bouquets, just precious. You put together such a festive occasion, right down to providing the music. Congratulations and Best Wishes to the newlyweds.

  4. Hello! I saw your bouquet on Erin's blog and thought I'd come on over. I really like how you used the hosta leaves in there. They look great!
